at last I can announce the official opening of The Swanage Seen Art Trail.the plan is... On Saturday 5th December,12.15, Jim Knight will cut the ribbon on the Mark Gertler Art Panel, sited on a terrace above the Albert Gardens, (More from Carlotta below) we will (hopefully with music) proceed through the gardens to The Art Hut for a celebratory glass of sparkling, with Antonia and Nina. Then carry on a mini Art trail through Institute Road (Denis Lowson) to Shore Road (Walter Field) then there is the Chococo Commercial Road Christmas Fair. Here Karen has kindly offered us her lower gallery in Totally Local for the remaining panels, other artists and makers will have tables and stalls.I want it to be a celebration of artists past and present! and a big thank you to all, sponsors, artists, writers, photographers, quarries, framers and everybody who has helped and contributed I would be really grateful if you could circulate this to all Strata members and other groups Many thanks
